Meet Bolt!

Bolt is officially ready to find his forever home!

Bolt and his siblings came to our rescue when they were just 3 weeks old after arriving at the shelter without their mother. We’ve had the privilege of raising and loving this litter, and now at 8 weeks old, they’re ready to start the next chapter of their lives with families of their own.

We believe Bolt is a German Shepherd mix, though we’re still waiting on his Wisdom Panel DNA results to confirm. Our best guess is German Shepherd mixed with either Husky or Australian Shepherd. Whatever his breed mix turns out to be, one thing is certain—this boy is full of personality.

Bolt is the wild child of the crew.

What’s funny is that he started out as the runt who was constantly getting picked on by his bigger siblings. Then one day, his confidence showed up—and it hasn’t left since. These days, Bolt approaches life with absolutely no fear. If there’s a new adventure to be had, he’s already halfway there before anyone else realizes what’s happening.

This boy loves to run, climb, explore, and investigate everything around him. He’ll happily launch himself into the puppy pool, attempt to scale anything that looks remotely climbable, and is usually at the center of whatever excitement is happening. He’s curious, bold, and always ready for the next adventure.

Despite his fearless attitude, Bolt is still a sweet puppy who enjoys affection and spending time with his people. He simply has an extra-large zest for life and a natural confidence that makes him incredibly entertaining to watch.

We have a feeling Bolt is going to be an absolute blast to train and take on adventures as he grows. Whether it’s hiking trails, learning new tricks, exploring new places, or simply being your sidekick, this boy is ready for whatever comes next.

Like most puppies his age, Bolt is still learning about the world around him. Because he is only 8 weeks old, potty training is a work in progress, and formal crate training has not yet begun.

One of the most beautiful things about bringing home a puppy is that they are a blank slate. Bolt will be heavily influenced by the time, training, socialization, and structure you provide. Puppies are adorable, but they are also a huge commitment.

Before applying, please make sure you’re fully prepared for the responsibility, patience, and consistency that come with raising a puppy into a well-rounded adult dog.

We absolutely welcome apartment dwellers to apply; however, please understand that puppies who are not fully vaccinated cannot safely walk in common potty areas. This often makes potty training more challenging and requires additional planning and management.

If you rent, please verify with your landlord or leasing office that there are no breed, size, or weight restrictions before submitting an application.

All of our puppies will be spayed or neutered at approximately 4.5 months of age during their final vaccine appointment, which is covered by our rescue.

If Bolt sounds like the adventure buddy you’ve been searching for, we’d love to hear from you! Fill out an adoption application and let’s schedule a time to chat.

Please note: We do not transport or ship dogs out of state. If you are not local to the Dallas area, you must be willing to travel here to meet Bolt and bring him home yourself.
