Meet Cowboy – The Goodest Boy in the Wild West! 

Cowboy is a 1.5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, and we’re just going to come right out and say it… this dude is an absolute DREAM.

Cowboy’s story started with a rather questionable late-night adventure. We found him wandering around a gas station in Royse City at 2 AM. Now, we’re not sure what kind of business he had to attend to at that hour, but we figured we’d better get him somewhere safe.

We did our due diligence trying to locate his family, but unfortunately, no one ever came forward.

Cowboy is athletic, playful, affectionate, and ridiculously lovable. He’s got all the energy you’d expect from a young Australian Cattle Dog, but he’s also convinced that personal space is completely unnecessary.

Seriously. If Cowboy could crawl directly into your soul and live there rent-free, he absolutely would.

He’s the kind of dog who is always down for an adventure but is equally enthusiastic about soaking up every ounce of affection you’re willing to give him.

And did we mention his manners? Because this boy has quite the résumé!

Crate trained? Check!

Potty trained? You bet!

Wonderful on leash? Absolutely!

Great with dogs, big and small? Sure is!

Loves people and children? You better believe it!

Good with cats? Well… nobody’s perfect.

Unfortunately, Cowboy and cats are not a match made in heaven, so he’ll need a cat free home.

As wonderful as Cowboy is, he’s still a young, energetic working-breed dog. His ideal family will understand that Australian Cattle Dogs need more than a cute collar and a comfy couch. They thrive with physical activity, mental stimulation, and continued structure.

Whether you’re looking for a hiking partner, a walking buddy, a four-legged sidekick for family adventures, or just a ridiculously affectionate best friend, Cowboy is ready to apply for the position.

And quite frankly, we think he’s overqualified.

We truly believe Cowboy is going to make one lucky family incredibly happy. He’s got the brains, the personality, the manners, and enough love to go around.

All he’s missing is someone to call his own.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not ship dogs out of state. If you live outside the Dallas–Fort Worth area, you must be willing to travel to Dallas to meet Cowboy in person and, if everything goes well, take him home with you. We believe the best friendships should start with a proper introduction—especially when your new best friend has four legs and a cowboy-sized personality!
