Meet Eevee – 65 Pounds of Fluff, Fun, and a Whole Lot of Love!

Eevee is a 2–3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who may be a little on the smaller side for her breed at 65 pounds, but don’t worry—she’s got enough personality to make up for it!

This beautiful girl came into Dallas Animal Services as a stray, suffering from both demodex and scabies. Needless to say, she wasn’t exactly having the best time. Her road to recovery was a long one, but Eevee handled it like an absolute champ! And now that she’s feeling better, she’s ready to make up for lost time.

Eevee is happy, playful, bouncy, and just an all-around wonderful dog. She loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and even adores cats! Yes, you read that correctly.

She’s also crate trained and potty trained, so she’s already got some pretty important life skills under her belt.

Now, in true Great Pyrenees fashion, Eevee does take her neighborhood watch responsibilities VERY seriously. Suspicious noise outside? She’ll let you know. A mysterious sound in the distance? She’s on it. The wind blowing a little differently today? Probably worth investigating.

Because of her tendency to bark at unfamiliar sounds, we don’t believe apartment living would be the best fit for her. She’d be much happier in a home where she can express her opinions without the neighbors filing a noise complaint.

But beyond her goofy personality and impressive security skills, Eevee is truly the definition of resilience.

She’s been through so much, yet somehow came out the other side with nothing but love, happiness, and an enthusiasm for life. She doesn’t let her past define her, and we think that’s pretty special.

We genuinely believe this girl has all the makings of someone’s once-in-a-lifetime dog. The kind of dog that becomes your shadow, your adventure buddy, your best friend, and eventually, your soul dog.

If you live outside the Dallas–Fort Worth area, you must be willing to travel to Dallas for a meet and greet and, if everything goes well, bring your new best friend home with you. We want our dogs to meet their future families before beginning their next chapter together!
