Meet Haze!

Haze is officially ready to find his forever home!

Haze and his siblings came to our rescue when they were just 3 weeks old after arriving at the shelter without their mother. We’ve had the privilege of raising and loving this litter, and now at 8 weeks old, they’re ready to start the next chapter of their lives with families of their own.

We believe Haze is a German Shepherd mix, though we’re still waiting on his Wisdom Panel DNA results to confirm. Our best guess is German Shepherd mixed with either Husky or Australian Shepherd. Whatever his breed mix turns out to be, one thing is certain—this handsome boy is going to be stunning as he grows up.

Haze is the biggest boy of the crew and, judging by his fluffy coat, we think he’s going to be absolutely majestic when he’s older. He already has the giant paws and adorable floppy ears to match!

While Haze loves to play, wrestle, and romp around with his siblings, he’s also got a softer side. This sweet boy practically melts in your arms when you pick him up. He’s affectionate, easygoing, and enjoys soaking up attention from his people. After a good play session, you’ll often find him curled up in a quiet corner, happily catching up on his puppy naps.

Between his gentle personality, oversized paws, and fluffy coat, we have a feeling Haze may end up being the largest puppy in the litter. Of course, only time (and his DNA results!) will tell.

Like most puppies his age, Haze is still learning about the world around him. Because he is only 8 weeks old, potty training is a work in progress, and formal crate training has not yet begun.

One of the most beautiful things about bringing home a puppy is that they are a blank slate.

Haze will be heavily influenced by the time, training, socialization, and structure you provide. Puppies are adorable, but they are also a huge commitment. Before applying, please make sure you’re fully prepared for the responsibility, patience, and consistency that come with raising a puppy into a well-rounded adult dog.

We absolutely welcome apartment dwellers to apply; however, please understand that puppies who are not fully vaccinated cannot safely walk in common potty areas. This often makes potty training more challenging and requires additional planning and management.

If you rent, please verify with your landlord or leasing office that there are no breed, size, or weight restrictions before submitting an application.

All of our puppies will be spayed or neutered at approximately 4.5 months of age during their final vaccine appointment, which is covered by our rescue.

If Haze sounds like the missing piece you’ve been searching for, we’d love to hear from you! Fill out an adoption application and let’s schedule a time to chat.

Please note: We do not transport or ship dogs out of state. If you are not local to the Dallas area, you must be willing to travel here to meet Haze and bring him home yourself.
